Life Coaching

Changing your narrative while navigating uncertainty and building resilience

Identify Goals

Identify Your Goals

When we, as humans, feel stuck in life, it can be because we don’t know where we are going. The first step of my process is to identity and set clear goals that feel authentic and attainable to you.

Overcome Obstacles

Overcome Obstacles

Roadblocks are going to happen. Things are going to get derailed. Together we will build your skills to navigate these bumps in the road so that keep building momentum towards your final destination.

Co-Create a Plan

Co-Create a Plan

Based on your goals, we’ll create action steps and accountability so you can build the life that you’ve been dreaming of living. You are the writer of your own story. It’s time to pick up the pen.

My Approach

As a coach, I am passionate about helping millennials find strength in their own story and experiences, especially during periods of transition. Together we will talk about where you currently are in your life and, most importantly, where you want to be. This includes exploring the beliefs you hold about yourself and the stories you tell yourself about yourself. Where did these come from? Do they serve you or hold you back from where you want to go? We will also identify your unique strengths and use them to help create goals that will catapult you into a more expansive version of amazing person you already are.

I think of coaching as a way to create and build the life that you envision for yourself instead of “fixing” the life that you’re currently living. You have all the tools and answers already, and together we will bring them to the surface and make an actionable plan to get you to your next destination.

I believe that coaching is an investment in yourself. In order to see the results of that investment, it needs to be done consistently over time. For that reason I ask for a 2 month commitment to six sessions with the option to extend on a month to month basis. Sessions will not roll over.

“I’ve worked with Charlie in multiple facets: yoga, breathwork workshops & coaching. His ability to assist you in getting curious about yourself without judgment is a gift.

And his playful nature will have you finding humor in it all! I have laughed, cried & pushed my limits on my own vulnerability, which has resulted in some beautiful releases.

Whether it’s yoga, coaching, or a workshop, there is always an invitation and reminder to celebrate exactly who you are in that moment and it feels incredible gripping hold of it. I’m grateful to have crossed paths with Charlie. He really is a gem and I can’t recommend him enough!”

—Megan S.

“I started 2023 feeling incredibly lost in who I was, not driven in my goals and ambitions, and an overwhelming feeling of being stuck. That’s when I found Charlie’s life coaching program and it was exactly what I needed.

Charlie spent the next 6 months working with me, helping me find that inner flame of drive and passion for life I thought I had lost. The space Charlie held for me in our sessions felt so free of judgment, I could really be myself and open up and be vulnerable with what was holding me back from being the version of myself I want to be.

One of the best parts was the accountability - Charlie would not only hold me accountable during our sessions, but would check in during the week to make sure I was getting done what I needed to so I could crush my goals and was staying on track.

I ended my life coaching with Charlie feeling incredible in my body and mind, and hopeful for the path I was consciously choosing to make for myself now. I finally feel strong and secure in who I am, and motivated and driven with my goals and aspirations.”

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as a partnership “with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership.”

The key word in that definition is partnership. We will be equals in our coaching relationship. I am not here to give advice or tell you how to live your life. Instead I will listen to what you are going through and help you find solutions that work in your life and current circumstances.

  • Therapy is focused on understanding experiences and trauma that a person experienced in the past and addresses mental health challenges.

Coaching is future focused, client driven and goal oriented. Many people do therapy and coaching at the same time. If at any point I feel like what we are talking about would be better addressed in therapy then I will gently guide you towards someone better qualified to help you.

  • I became a certified coach after completeing my training through Lumia Coaching. There is no governing body for the coaching profession like American Bar Association for lawyers, so many people decide to become coaches and simply start marketing themselves as such without any training (I should know, I tried it! It did not go well.) The ICF provides a code of ethics for coaches as well credentials, but these are not required. I am working towards becoming an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the ICF, which is the next level of credentialing in my coaching journey.

I have experience teaching yoga, leading mindfulness workshops and facilitating virtual and in-person wellness groups. Moving into one-on-one coaching feels like a natural progression from what I have done in the past.

On a personal note, my life has been through many changes and iterations, especially over the last few years. Not all of it was by my own choice. Through these challenges, I learned how to pivot and navigate around/over/through obstacles that I encountered. I want to help other people who are going through big life changes and do not feel like they are in control of their lives take their power back.

  • It can seem expensive at first glance, but think of it as an investment in your future self. You will build your own toolkit so that you can feel better equipped to navigate change as it keeps coming- because it’s gonna keep coming.

According to the ICF, the average hourly fee for a coaching session is $130, so my prices are below market value. If $300/month does not feel attainable to you then let’s have a conversation and see if we can find a price that feels good for both of us.

  • In a word: no. In many words: you, the client, are the one who has to be as committed to this process as I am, if not more so. Like with most things in life, you are going to get out of it what you put into it.

I guarantee that I will show up to our sessions ready to listen and hold space for you. I will work with you to set goals and create steps to move towards them. I will help you create a system of accountability to ensure that you stay committed to this journey. At the end of the day, you are the one driving your own coaching experience and much of the progress you make will be between our sessions. I will not babysit or nag you to do the work. I also won’t punish you if things come up and you don’t accomplish all your goals in a week. All that to say that I will hold up my end of our agreement. If you hold up yours, you will start to see the results that you want.

  • For sure! Let’s talk about your needs, interests, and experience with movement and we can figure something out!

Let’s talk.
